Whether and when the use of cloud technologies and the use and deployment of applications and IT resources is worthwhile, depends on the individual case.

The Fraunhofer Cloud Computing Alliance is a cooperation of eight Fraunhofer Institutes. They are dedicated to applied research in the field of cloud IT and software-as-a-service.

The partners are working together both in industry and in scientific research collaborations, depending on application requirements. This allows for interdisciplinary solutions from one source.
